Well I had my day in court saturday. The charge was that of mocking the punishment of the court. After my counsel, Mr Jenkins had elicited a clarification of the charge it transpired that this referred to various tweets of mine. Faced with such irrefutable evidence, under Mr Jenkins' advice I decided to plead guilty, and throw myself upon the mercy of the court. In mitigation, reference would be made to the fact that I had not made or sent any erroneous calls, texts or e-mails. I had the idea that I was doomed.
I met up with Lamb, and was introduced to my co-defendant, the gorgeous and delightful Emma Jane, whom he was to defend.Lamb left us, while he went to the court. We chatted, yet all the while I was growing more nervous as the time in which our cases were due to be heard came and went. I even, rather foolishly as it turned out, as it was later produced against me, tweeted commenting on the courts lateness! Finally, the summons arrived and Emma Jane and myself made our way to the court.
From the outset it was apparent that this was a very real court. I was met at the door by a very official looking Ms Switch, who offered no greeting, but ordered us to follow her and escorted us to where our solicitors were waiting for us.
We sat down, flanked by our counsels, before a desk upon which were placed various fearsome looking implements. I found myself looking upon them frequently with some apprehension. In the courtroom were two other officials, Ms Stoker and Mr Allen, both of them looking as stern as Ms Switch. Then the Judge arrived and our cases were heard.
Mine was the first case to be heard. As expected, neither the arguments of my counsel, including the (I thought) very valid point that any previous corporal punishment by the court was contrary to the 1820 Whipping of Female Offenders Abolition Act, were to any avail, or had any effect on the severe Judge. When questioned about one of my tweets I felt all nervous and found it hard to come up with a reasonable explanation for it. I was pronounced guilty and sentenced. I was to receive I was to receive one and a half minutes of the spray birch, to be delivered in three lots of thirty seconds. This was to be followed by thirty strokes of the manx birch. Emma Jayne's case was next. She was accused of involvment with the mafia, and despite Lamb's valient defending, and her assertion that she had been working undercover with the secret police, she too was found guilty. She was sentenced to one minute of the spray birch, in two thirty second bursts, followed by twenty with the manx birch. The Judge exhorted the administrators to deliver all of the strokes at full force, and to pay no attention to any cries or distress exhibited by us. You can well imagine the effect of this pronouncement!
I was the first to be punished. I laid myself across the bench and my skirt was lifted. I was tied at the arms, wrists and legs (good and tight-just how I like it), and a strap was placed across the middle of my body. I was totally restrained, and there was to be no escape. Then my knickers were drawn down to expose my bare buttocks...
The first of my spray birchings was delivered by Ms Switch, and you can imagine what a gentle warm-up that was for me! The next was by Ms Stoker, who I had never been beaten by before, but who proved herself a formidable administrator. The final set was given by Mr A. There was much wrapping on my right side, and as ever the sting was incredible. The Manx birch was administered in sets of ten, with the same rotation of administrators as before. Each stroke was an intense thudding blow. For me it was just amazing, turning my head and being able to see the administrators arm as they drew back to strike me. Water was given at intervals, due to the heat, and at one point during the manx birching, Ms Switch kindly sprayed some on me. I asked her (withought of course thinking how this would intensify the pain), if she could splash some on my bottom, which she did. You can imagine the condition of my bottom after the birching was over!
After inspection, I sat on my now far from pristine bottom to watch Emma Jane take her punishment. She was a complete star, and this was her first time too! She took all of her strokes bravely, even though she was rather cruely given two extra blows of the manx to drive the lesson home. Although I could hear her crying,I knew that she was ok because she had warned me of her tendency to cry beforehand. I must admit to feeling a little jealous of this ability, as it is something I never do. One of my fantasies, is in fact, to be beaten untill I cry. I think that that would probably need to involve other body parts, and some heavy mindfucking.
We were then called again before the Judge and asked if we had learned our lesson. Me, being compleately honest said that I had....FOR NOW, and would TRY not to transgress again. Knowing myself only too well, that really was the only answer that I could give. I have a funny feeling that this won't be the last time in which I shall appear in court.....
When the scene was over I received another twenty with the Manx birch, from the Judge himself, which was what was needed to tip me over. The extra one requested by Ms Switch, although offensive to my sense of symmetry, really was the icing on the cake. Mr A gave me a long promised 'light' as he put it taste of his Sjambok whip on my back. That certainly did elicit reaxction from me. Thank you Mr A, I still had some whip marks the next day:). As for my bottom, well it is still extremely bruised, having undergone a genuine severe judicial punishment. I must also add that not all of the blows were restricted to my bottom, a few were delivered to the tops of my thighs...ouchie!
Thank you very much to all involved. I really NEEDED that!
So like your blog! Good luck with it - I'm sure it'll become required reading :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post - combined with Emma Jane's about the same scene, the two pieces of writing really convey what the scene must have been like.
Having turned up by the time you got your final twenty, it was amazing to watch the way you took these - and so remarkable to see the strength with which they were inflicted. It really made me appreciate what you and EJ had gone through in your judicial punishments - I'd not have realised quite how brave you'd both had to be had I not been privileged enough to be around for your final dose.
Hope you don't mind me referencing a couple of other posts about this scene, in case any of your readers are interested:

Welcome... Pandora's tweet sent me here.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read the name of your counsel in the first paragraph, I (understandably, I feel) assumed that you referring to the commenter above, Abel1234. Which lead me to the (equally understandable) conclusion that you were doomed (as indeed you were), on the grounds that Abel Jenkins is not noted for _preventing_ punishment, rather quite the opposite.
Still, as one is has been pompously uttered innumerable times over the years, it's for your own good... and it's lovely that it really is!
Malc.
Thanks Abel,as this is my first attempt at a blog I wasn't sure if my writing would be quite up to scratch.
ReplyDeleteMalc, my *inept* counsel was a different Mr Jenkins to Abel.
